The Journal of Science and Technology of the Arts (CITARJournal) is a peer-reviewed publication that results from a commitment of the Research Center for Science and Technology of the Arts (CITAR) to promote knowledge, research and artworks in the field of the Arts.
The Journal provides a distinctive forum for anyone interested in the impact which the application of contemporary Science and Technology is having upon the Arts.
The Journal is published by the Portuguese Catholic University, under an open access policy and has no article submission charges or article processing charges.
Each issue of the Journal of Science and Technology of the Arts includes:
- Editor's notes;
- Four or more feature articles;
- One or more reviews of events, initiatives or publications;
The journal is permanently open to receive submissions for future issues. Please follow the instructions for authors guidelines for submitting your paper.
Accepted for Scopus indexing
It is a pleasure to announce that the CITAR Journal was recently (March 2016) accepted to be indexed in Scopus, one of the most recognized databases internationally in the academic and scientific community, Elsevier’s property.
This milestone represents international recognition of the journal quality and published articles. As soon as the process of inclusion of articles in Scopus is completed, these will be widely disseminated, searched, accessed and cited.
